Moteiv Hardware Product Transition Notice
This is a notification on Sentilla's transition plans for Moteiv Tmote hardware products. These plans affect users of Moteiv Tmote Sky, Moteiv Tmote Invent, and Moteiv Tmote Mini.
- October 16, 2007: Sentilla announces transition plans for Moteiv Tmote hardware product line.
- December 31, 2007: Email and telephone technical support for Moteiv Tmote hardware products discontinued; Tmote support is still readily available through the open source community located at http://mail.millennium.berkeley.edu/pipermail/tinyos-help/
Please note: Sentilla is not ceasing the production of hardware. Sentilla is migrating to new hardware platforms that come bundled with Sentilla's breakthrough Java-based software. For more information about how existing customer can transition to Sentilla's new platform, please see our Open Letter to Sentilla Customers.
We sincerely appreciate your loyalty as a Moteiv customer and appreciate your support during our transition to Sentilla. While the Moteiv Tmote product line and early devices like Tmote Sky launched the age of pervasive computing, we see the truly transformational innovations lie in software.
