Applications Engineer

In the Applications Engineering position you will be on the forefront of technology, designing, developing, and implementing applications never before possible! You will act as an advocate of the company and product, interfacing with customers and showcasing the power of pervasive computing through technology showcases. In this role, you are expected to be imaginative, self-motivated, and excited about bringing a new generation of computing to market through application successes. Required background:
- BS/MS in EE. CS, ME or related field
- Excellent programming skills and methodologies in C, C++, or Java
- Experience with electronics/electrical engineering
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills
- Customer-facing experience
- Desire to help customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to prioritize multiple and changing tasks
Desired Background:
- Experience with Web services
- Background in data integration
- Mechanical engineering background a big plus (robotics, small electronics, etc.)
- Project management experience
